1.931

《五分》。小事，謂供給承事也。若下，恐俗輕侮，正其所失。準彼乃是弟子覺師，今此反之，意通彼此。下指廣相，文見二十七。

The Mahīśāsaka-vinaya: 'Minor matters' refers to supplying needs and waiting upon [the teacher]. From 'if' downward, fearing that the laity might show contempt and insult, one corrects what was lost. According to that text, it is the disciple who awakens the teacher; here it reverses it, the intent applying to both.
