Among the non-offenses: The six kinds are all separated by the word 'if'. The first is a confused mind; second, not on account of her praise; third is a shift in perception, the Vinaya stating, 'perceiving instruction as non-instruction' ('instruction' refers to urging praise so as to induce an invitation); the fourth and fifth can be understood; the sixth contains a textual error, where the Vinaya states 'not purposefully instructing, yet begging food to give' (meaning the bhikṣuṇī directly begs and the donor consequently gives it, not obtaining it through praise). Here, the first and third belong to the bhikṣu, the second and fifth belong to the dānapati, and the fourth and sixth belong to the bhikṣuṇī.
