三中。《五百問》：有形物者，語通四藥。不漱墮者，準律應吉，咽物方墮。

In the third [subsection], in the Five Hundred Questions: "substances with form" applies generally to the four medicines. As for incurring a pāyattika for not rinsing the mouth: according to the Vinaya it should be a duṣkṛta; only when one swallows the substance does it become a pāyattika.
