As the saying goes: 'Plain white silk is easily dyed; vermilion and purple are hard to distinguish.' Although it has been pointed out and explained in detail, they are still unable to turn back. Is it not that restraining passions and moderating desires are what the whole world finds difficult, while indulging the mind and committing wrongdoing are what people desire? Even in the generation of the Patriarchal Master, the trend was already like this; how much more so down to the present day—it is not at all surprising.
