Under no violation, the four circumstances are: 1. regular invitation (he says, "I will regularly provide medicine"); 2. renewed invitation (after it ceases, he invites again to give it); 3. distributed invitation (bringing it to the saṅghārāma to distribute and give it); 4. lifelong invitation ("I shall provide medicine for the rest of your life"). The Commentary says: What is the difference between regular and lifelong? They are distinguished in terms of the subject and object of the giving. (A regular invitation concerns the one capable of giving; a lifelong invitation concerns what is given.)
