四十八。（佛在舍衛，人民反叛，王領軍征伐，六軍觀陣，匿王不悅，故制。）

Forty-eight. (When the Buddha was in Śrāvastī, the people rebelled and the king led the army to suppress them; the ṣaḍvargika watched the battle formation, and King Prasenajit was displeased; hence it was prohibited.)
