五十三。（佛在舍衛，六群中一人擊櫪十七群中一人幾死，因制。）戒名者。古謂以手於腋下捵弄令痒，若準犯緣必具惱意，故知成犯非唯戲劇。

Fifty-three. (When the Buddha was in Śrāvastī, one among the ṣaḍvargika struck and tickled one among the seventeen group almost to death; hence it was prohibited.) Precept name: In ancient times it was said to be using hands under the armpits to poke and play, causing itching; according to the conditions of violation, it must involve the intent to vex, so we know that constituting a violation is not solely play.
