顯意中。指同前戒。疏云：若據虫水，應合為一；為重物命，故內外兩結。律不犯中。先不知，若無虫想；若虫，麁觸水使去；若漉水飲用，並無犯。

In revealing the intent: it indicates being identical to the preceding precept. The Commentary states: if judged based on water with insects, they should be combined into one; but out of gravity toward the lives of sentient beings, they are concluded separately for internal and external [use]. In the Vinaya's non-offenses: not knowing beforehand, having no notion of insects, if there are insects, roughly stirring the water to make them leave, or filtering water to drink and use—none of these constitute an offense.
