釋中，對前戒者。疏云：本為打非搏，但打家方便，吉羅；本為摶非打，動心即搏方便。

In the explanation, contrasting it with the preceding precept: the commentary states, "Originally intending to hit, not to lunge, is merely a preparatory stage of hitting, a duṣkṛta; originally intending to lunge, not to hit, as soon as the mind moves it is a preparatory stage of lunging."
