第三。（佛在羅閱城，居士夫婦俱得見諦，無所愛惜；供養既多，衣食乏盡，招譏故制。）

The Third. (The Buddha was in Rājagṛha. A householder and his wife had both attained insight into the Truth and were without stinginess; having made abundant offerings, their clothing and food were exhausted, inviting criticism, so he laid down the prohibition.)
