In terms of dharmas: the first section. 'Comportment' refers to separately guarding according to the object, restraining body and speech; 'guarding the faculties' refers to generally subsuming the six faculties, curbing the mind; 'concentration-concurrent' [precepts arise] because they arise together with dhyāna concentration; 'path-concurrent' [precepts arise] because they are obtained simultaneously when severing delusions and realizing the path. The first two are scattered karmas, the third is concentrated karma, and the fourth is undefiled karma. In terms of precepts, there are only three ranks: the upper two both obtain prātimokṣa; they are merely distinguished as coarse or subtle in terms of internal and external ordinary persons. Comportment penetrates ordinary persons and sages; path-concurrent is strictly confined to sages; comparing the middle two, their pervasiveness and restriction can be known.
