2.2091

《僧祇》中，初總標。如下，顯相。初且約十日，日犯一殘，俱不發露；第十日犯者，則覆一夜；初日犯者，則覆十夜。應下，正明總別。十番是別，一番即總。

In the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya: first, it marks [the topic] generally. From "as follows" below, it reveals the details. First, it provisionally considers ten days: committing one saṃghāvaśeṣa each day, none of which are disclosed; for the one committed on the tenth day, one night is concealed; for the one committed on the first day, ten nights are concealed. From "should" below, it directly clarifies collective and individual. Ten rounds is individual, while one round is collective.
