2.2138

三中，簡其所忘。餘戒本非貪畜，但是受納乖方，故不相染。三長反此，故有染也。

In the third [part], it screens what was forgotten: other precepts are originally not about greedily storing [possessions], but merely about accepting and receiving them contrary to the correct manner, so they do not defile each other. The three [kinds of] extra [possessions] are contrary to this; hence there is defilement.
