第六。（佛在羅閱祇，開聽作房，比丘大作；乞求惱俗，斫樹惱神，因制。）名標無主，簡後戒故。過量不乞二過合制，同一房故。

The sixth [saṃghāvaśeṣa]. (When the Buddha was in Rājagṛha, he permitted building huts; bhikṣus built on a grand scale, begging and annoying laypeople, and chopping down trees, annoying deities; hence it was established.) The title specifies "having no owner" to distinguish it from the subsequent precept. The two faults of exceeding the measure and not begging [for the site] are prohibited together because they concern the same hut.
