別釋中五段，前四永制，後一暫開；又初四損自，二三損他。初云凡所求者，總收多事；不問公私善惡，皆不許之。何下，出意。以非沙門所宜為故。

In the specific explanations, there are five sections. The first four are permanently prohibited, and the last one is temporarily permitted as an exception. Moreover, the first and fourth harm oneself, while the second and third harm others. The first says, 'Whatever one seeks', which covers many matters in general; whether public or private, good or bad, none are permitted. From 'why' downwards brings out the intention: because it is not what is suitable for a śramaṇa to do.
