列緣。云自恃者，即如闡陀；諸比丘諫時，反云我應教諸大德，我聖主得正覺故。（由本侍佛控馬逾城入山成道，後乃出家，故常恃此陵慢於他。）

Listing the conditions: Saying 'relying on oneself' is just like Chanda; when the monks admonished him, he retorted, 'I should instruct all the Venerables, because my holy master attained correct awakening.' (Because he originally served the Buddha, holding the horse to leap over the city wall and enter the mountains to attain the Way, and only later left the household, he constantly relied on this to despise and bully others.)
