五中。付衣者，律作受付囑衣者，即所囑藏舉人也。水陸等者，此並人衣隔絕，不及故開；例餘緣阻通入不犯，故云等也。

In the fifth: "entrusting the robes": in the vinaya this is rendered as "the one who receives the entrustment of the robes," namely the person entrusted with storing and keeping them. As for "water and land, etc.": in all these cases, the person and robes are separated and cannot reach each other, hence the exception is granted; by analogy, other obstructing conditions all enter the non-offense status, hence it says "etc."
