第四。（佛在羅閱祇，蓮華色尼脫所著貴衣，換比丘弊故納往佛所，因問而制。）戒名。取即是業，非親簡親，尼別下眾。

Fourth [precept]. (When the Buddha was in Rājagṛha, the bhikṣuṇī Utpalavarṇā took off the precious robe she was wearing and exchanged it for a bhikṣu's tattered rag robe to go to the Buddha's place, which led to questioning and the prohibition.) Precept name: taking is the action; non-relative distinguishes from relatives; bhikṣuṇī distinguishes from the lower orders.
