2.71

四中，初明懺重吉。雖是對首，還須自責；以責心之言，通諸悔故。懺法如後，故此不出。次懺輕中。因引懺法。下篇不出，故此指通。

In the fourth [part], first the confession of grave duṣkṛta is explained. Although it is done facing a counterpart, one must still reproach oneself; for words of mental self-reproach apply generally to all confessions. Since the confession method is as given below, it is not presented here. Next, under repenting light [offenses]: the confession method is cited in passing. Since it is not presented in the lower classes, here it is indicated generally.
