次《僧祇》文，初示金銀，上句列名。下二句釋相。生色金者，天生黃故。似色銀者，可用塗染，像於金故。次明錢中。隨國用者，體通八種。不得捉者，捉犯後戒；然畜必由捉，故多標之。

Next, the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya text: First, it indicates gold and silver. The upper line lists the names; the lower two lines explain their characteristics. 'Natural-colored gold' is yellow by nature. 'Similar-colored silver' can be used for gilding, resembling gold. Next, in explaining coins: 'Whatever is used in the country' encompasses in substance the eight kinds. 'Must not take': taking incurs the subsequent precept; however, keeping necessarily stems from taking, so it is frequently indicated.
