《十誦》中。初明比丘淨語自貿；以不得故，方覓淨人。以爾所下，教人淨語也。上明開買；此下，明開賣。

In the *Daśādhyāya-vinaya*: first it clarifies that a bhikṣu trades for himself using pure speech; because he is unable to do so, only then does he seek a pure person. From 'With so much...' onward, he instructs the person in pure speech. The above clarifies the exception for buying; from here downward, it clarifies the exception for selling.
