次科。文列五相，皆非人己，故罪階降。所許雖別，但是泛指，施心未決，如注所顯。隨前犯者，文見下科。《僧祇》迴畜物，非人準同。必迴決施，隨境成盜。

The next section: the text lists five characteristics, all of which are neither other people nor oneself, hence the guilt decreases in degree. Although what is promised varies, it is only a general indication, and the donor's intention was not yet determined, as shown in the commentary. Committing the offense in accordance with what preceded is seen in the next section. In the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya, diverting property intended for animals is to be treated the same for non-humans. If one definitely diverts a determined donation, it constitutes theft according to the object.
