初門，總分中。百一供身，謂時須要用者，加受憶識二俱通許。異前必受，故云令也。長物局衣，更收錢穀等物，故云及餘也。

In the first section, under general classification: 'One hundred and one bodily requisites' refers to those that are necessary at the time; both formal reception and conscious retention are permitted. Differing from the previous [robes] which must be formally received, it therefore says 'causes.' 'Extra items' is restricted to robes, but further includes money, grain, and other goods, hence it says 'and others.'
