3.25

廣辨中，《十誦》，初出非色。即是五正。除納衣，簡所開也。戒下，示如法色。泥即黑色，棧即木蘭。

In "Broad Discrimination": The Daśādhyāya-vinaya first sets forth improper colors. These are the five cardinal colors. "Except for patchwork robes" eliminates what is permitted as an exception. "Precepts..." below shows colors that accord with the Dharma. Mud means black; zhan (棧) means magnolia bark.
