次沙彌中。等興，同僧分也。四中與一，謂僧一分四破分之。準應白搥，一同僧式。五中與一，準上亦然。淨人不可預眾，應白僧已，屏處付之。若下，示制。《疏》即《業疏》，《鈔》即《義鈔》，文逸。

Next, in the śrāmaṇera [section]: 'equal arising' means dividing equally with the Saṃgha. 'Giving one out of four' means the Saṃgha divides one portion into four parts. By analogy, one should strike the sounding board, completely identical to the Saṃgha's format. 'Giving one out of five' is also like the above by analogy. Pure attendants cannot participate in the assembly; having addressed the Saṃgha, they should be given to them in a secluded place. From 'If' onward, it indicates the prohibition. The Commentary refers to the Karma Commentary, the Manual refers to the Meaning Manual, the texts of which are lost.
