《十誦》。負謂抱負。自觸吉者，示制過也。有過藥，即曾犯觸宿者，病故開之。（或云五辛者，非。）

The Daśādhyāya-vinaya: Carrying means embracing and carrying. 'Self-touch is a duṣkṛta' shows the prohibition of the fault. 'Medicine with fault': that is, having committed touch and overnight storage; because of illness, an exception is made. (Some say this refers to the five pungent roots, which is incorrect.)
