互覆墮者，根依兩界，枝覆果墮，則有互也。準下諸文，在樹並從根判，墮落皆據知論。大略如此，尋文自見。

As for "mutually overhanging and falling": when the roots depend on two different boundaries and the branches overhang or the fruit falls, there is mutual [relation]. According to the texts below, while [fruit] is on the tree it is uniformly determined according to the roots; when it has fallen, it is uniformly discussed according to knowledge. Such is the general outline; if one examines the texts, it will be naturally apparent.
