五中，上句結前。次句生下。使下，彰意。斂謂收攝，迹謂麁相。

In the fifth [section], the upper line concludes the preceding. The next line gives rise to what follows. The text from "Causing" onwards manifests the intention. "Restraining" means gathering in; "traces" means coarse marks.
