九中。《僧祇》作念，即晨起六念，念食處故。餘處悔過者，違念吉羅。《十誦》結犯，且據俗舍別請為言。下引論決，作相免過，此通施家，不唯常住。（古云此據僧舍者，非。）

In the ninth [heading], the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya's generating mindful awareness refers to the six mindfulnesses upon rising at dawn, being mindful of the eating place. 'Repenting the transgression elsewhere' means violating this mindfulness incurs a duṣkṛta. The Daśādhyāya-vinaya's determination of an offense tentatively refers to individual invitations at lay residences. Citing the treatise below to resolve the matter, making a mental sign to avoid the transgression applies generally to donor houses, not only the permanent monastic quarters. (The ancient claim that this refers only to monastic quarters is incorrect.)
