《四分》中，初引示。律下，準決，初示律意。言律令者，即躡上文，但非明顯。故令同論，即前所引欲破未穿文也。多下，次定失否，初舉論。此下，決判。上句點《多論》，下句存《善見》。

In the *Dharmaguptaka-vinaya*, first it cites and demonstrates. From 'The vinaya' onward, it evaluates and decides: first it shows the vinaya's intent. When it says 'The vinaya commands', it refers back to the text above, though it was not obvious. Thus it is made to accord with the treatise, which is the aforementioned text about 'about to tear but not yet torn through'. From 'Many' onward, next it determines whether it is lost: first it raises the treatise. From 'Here' onward, it gives a definitive judgment. The first clause points to the *Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā*, while the latter clause preserves the *Sudarśanavinaya-vibhāṣā*.
