三中，初正明。此即轉釋上科不受道化之語。如下，喻顯。嬰兒，即喻愚俗，即上所謂小兒癡是也。（有將嬰兒喻比丘非也。）

In the third section, first, it explains directly: this further explains the phrase 'not accepting the conversion of the Path' in the preceding section. 'As...' onwards uses an analogy to clarify: the infant is an analogy for the foolish layperson, which is what was called 'childish folly' above. (Some who take the infant as an analogy for the bhikṣu are incorrect.)
