初門，禮敬中。晨午昏為晝三時，初中後為夜三時。三事，如文次列。據餘經論，須行五悔，更加迴向發願；如祖師六時禮文，具載儀式，學者宜依。

The first section: in reverent bowing: morning, noon, and dusk are the three periods of the day; early, middle, and late [night] are the three periods of the night. The three matters are listed in sequence as in the text. According to other sūtras and treatises, one must practice the fivefold repentance and further add dedication of merit and making vows; as in the Patriarchal Master's text for six-period reverent bowing, the ceremonial is fully recorded, and scholars should follow it.
