比丘慢心，自謂得道，後勤精進，證增上果，生疑，白佛，便言：「增上慢人為不犯。」

A bhikṣu with an arrogant mind thinks himself to have attained the path, but later strives with diligence and realizes the higher fruit; having doubts, he addresses the Buddha, who then says: “A person of overweening pride commits no offense.”
