1.130

若方便弄不失，偷蘭。比丘自相教，若失，犯偷蘭；不失，突吉羅。尼，波逸提。下三眾，吉羅。不犯者，一切不作出精意。

If he applies means to manipulate but does not emit, it is a sthūlātyaya. If bhikṣus instruct one another, if emission occurs, they commit a sthūlātyaya; if it does not emit, a duṣkṛta. For a nun, it is a prāyaścittika. For the lower three assemblies, a duṣkṛta. Cases of non-offense: all instances where one does not give rise to the intention to emit semen.
