樂閑靜處，時到乞食，著糞掃衣，作餘食法不食，一坐食，一揣食，塚間坐，樹下坐，常坐，隨坐，持三衣，唄匿，多聞，能說法，持毘尼，坐禪是也。

delighting in secluded places, begging for food when the time comes, wearing robes of rags from the dust heap, not eating left-over food, eating at a single sitting, eating from a single morsel bowl, dwelling in a cemetery, dwelling beneath a tree, always sitting, sitting anywhere, keeping the three robes, chanting hymns, learning much, being able to expound the Dharma, upholding the Vinaya, and practicing seated meditation—this is what it means.
