自身不受諫語，言：「諸大德！莫向我說若好若惡，我亦不向諸大德說若好若惡。諸大德且止，莫數諫我。」

'and he himself will not accept the words of admonition, saying: "Venerables, do not speak to me whether of good or of bad, nor will I speak to the venerables whether of good or of bad. Venerables, stop for now; do not repeatedly admonish me."'
