時，比丘得乾痟病，糞掃僧伽梨極重，有因緣事人間遊行，不堪持行，以事白佛。佛令三乞已，白二離。

(At that time, a bhikṣu contracted a consumptive illness; his rag saṃghāṭī was extremely heavy, and having business requiring him to travel among people, he was unable to carry it along. He reported the matter to the Buddha. The Buddha had him make three requests, after which he was granted separation by a jñaptidvitīyā-karman.)
