若失一衣，不應取。若失二衣，餘二衣二重、三重、四重者，應摘作僧伽梨，若欝多羅僧，若安多會。
If he has lost one robe, he should not take [two]. If he has lost two robes, and the remaining two robes are of two layers, three layers, or four layers, he should split them apart to make a saṃghāṭī, or an uttarāsaṅga, or an antarvāsaka.
