佛在舍衛國。六群比丘嫌故臥具或重或輕，或厚或薄，不捨故者，而更作新，常營求，藏積眾多。比丘舉過，佛訶制戒。

The Buddha was in the country of Śrāvastī. The group of six bhikṣus disliked their old rugs as being either too heavy or too light, too thick or too thin; without relinquishing the old ones, they made new ones again, constantly seeking them and hoarding a great many. Bhikṣus raised the fault, and the Buddha rebuked them and laid down the precept.
