1.506

比丘尼同犯。若不語彼人「知是，看是」，突吉羅。不犯者：若語言「知是，看是」，如上捨法。若彼人不肯與衣者，餘比丘當語言：「佛有教，為淨故與汝；應還他物。」若又不與，自往語言：「佛教比丘作淨與汝，汝應與僧、塔、和尚、知識及本施主。」不欲令失彼信施故也。

A bhikṣuṇī commits the same offense. If he does not tell that person, 'Know this, look at this,' it is a duṣkṛta. Non-offenses: if he says, 'Know this, look at this,' according to the above procedure of relinquishment. If that person is unwilling to give robes, other bhikṣus should say to him, 'The Buddha has a teaching: it was given to you for the sake of making it pure; you should return the other's property.' If he still does not give it, [the bhikṣu] himself goes and says to him, 'The Buddha taught bhikṣus to purify it and give it to you; you should give it to the saṃgha, a stūpa, your preceptor, spiritual friends, or the original donor.' This is done so as not to let the faithful gift be lost.
