彼比丘應往僧中捨，展轉取最下鉢與之令持，乃至破，應持。此是時。
That bhikṣu should go to the Saṃgha to forfeit it, and they shall successively take the most inferior bowl and give it to him to retain; even until it breaks, he should retain it. This is the proper procedure.
