1.594

謂急施衣，若過前，若過後，並犯墮。比丘尼同犯。不犯者，不過前，不過後，不犯。若奪衣、失衣，過前取，不犯。若寄衣比丘遠行，水陸道斷，過後，不犯。

This means that with an emergency robe-offering, whether exceeding the earlier limit or exceeding the later limit, both constitute an offense of falling. Bhikṣuṇīs incur the same offense. As for non-offenses: if he does not exceed the earlier limit and does not exceed the later limit, there is no offense. If his robes are seized or lost and he takes it before the limit, there is no offense. If the bhikṣu who entrusted the robe has traveled far and the water or land routes are cut off, exceeding the later limit is not an offense.
