若彼有緣離衣宿，第七夜明相未出前，若捨，若捉衣，若至擲石所及處。反上成犯。

If he has a cause to spend the night away from the robes, before the first light of dawn appears on the seventh night, whether he abandons it, touches the robe, or reaches within a stone's throw of it, [there is no offense]; the opposite of the above constitutes an offense.
