2.501

除水已，若酪漿、苦酒、麥汁，器中弄，一切吉羅。不犯者：若道行渡水；或從此岸至彼岸；或水牽竹木𥱼順流上下；若取石沙；若失物，沈入水底，此沒彼出。或學知浮法而擢臂畫水、灒水者，無犯。

Apart from water, if one plays with whey, vinegar, or barley gruel in a vessel, all are duṣkṛta. There is no offence: if one wades across water while traveling on the road; or goes from this bank to the other bank; or pulls bamboo, wood, or a raft in water, moving up or down with the current; or gathers stones and sand; or, having lost an article, dives to the bottom of the water, submerging here and emerging there. Or if one learns swimming techniques, lifting the arms and striking the water, or splashing water, there is no offence.
