佛在舍衛。六群取雜蟲水而飲用，居士譏嫌。比丘舉過白佛，訶而制戒。

The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six took water mixed with insects and drank and used it; laypeople criticized and deplored it. Bhikṣus raised the fault and reported it to the Buddha; he rebuked them and laid down the precept.
