2.724

若以兩手搏彼者，犯墮。若戶鑰等挃，一切吉羅。尼同僧犯。不犯者，若有緣事，須舉手遮、招、觸者。

If he slaps him with both hands, he commits a fallen offense (prāyaścittika). If he jabs him with a door-key or the like, it is in all cases a duṣkṛta. Bhikṣuṇīs commit the same offense as bhikṣus. As for non-offenses: if there is a reason that requires raising a hand to ward off, beckon, or touch [someone].
