若廣長俱過、互過，自作、教他作，成，犯墮；不成，吉羅。為他作，成、不成，吉羅。尼吉羅。不犯者，若減，若疊，他得裁也。

If both width and length exceed, or either exceeds [the limit], whether one makes it oneself or has another make it: when completed, it is a prāyaścittika; when not completed, a duṣkṛta. If one makes it for another, whether completed or not completed, it is a duṣkṛta. For a bhikṣuṇī, it is a duṣkṛta. There is no offense if it is less [than the limit], if it is folded, or if one obtains [an oversized one] from another and cuts it down.
