佛在舍衛。六群搖身入白衣舍，居士譏言：「不慚！搖身如王、大臣。」比丘舉過，佛因訶制。
The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six entered a layperson's house swaying their bodies. Householders criticised them, saying, 'Shameless! Swaying their bodies like kings and great ministers.' The bhikṣus reported this fault, and the Buddha thereupon reproved them and instituted the rule:
