佛在舍衛。六群向塔舒脚坐，樂學戒者舉過白佛，因訶制戒。

The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six sat stretching out their legs toward a stupa. Those who took pleasure in training in the precepts raised the fault and reported it to the Buddha, who thereupon rebuked them and instituted the precept.
