不犯者：或有如是病，持佛像在下房，己在上房住；或命、梵二難者。

Those who do not violate it: at times there is such an illness that one keeps an image of the Buddha in a lower room while dwelling in an upper room oneself; or in the case of the two perils to life or to chastity (brahmacarya).
